U11 Jaguars v Duffield Dynamo
Jaguars took on Duffield yesterday in a well contested match. We knew it would be tough against a well established and strong team, but the girls played very well and matched Duffield throughout.

There was excellent defending in the first half from the team to keep Duffield's attempts at goal to a minimum, and at the other end, Jaguars forced the keeper into a few saves from shots from Wren and Freya.

In the second half, the end to end action continued with Katie having a shot cleared off the line and Rose hitting the post in the last minute.

All the girls played well, with the four defenders of Lucy, Tiana, Holly Esther, and goalkeeper Alicia keeping chances to a minimum. The player of the match went to Rose for an all action midfield display.

U10 Pumas v Hilton Harriers
It was a really good performance from the girls yesterday.
Ivy, Umayyah and Tayla provided a solid defensive barrier in front of Lily in goal, who is starting to make the most of her box and coming off her line more to claim balls.

In midfield the energy from the girls was a different level with Evie, Dela, Millie and Bella all being massively involved in the game and combining with Erin up front who was a constant threat.

Millie was desperately unlucky as she saw some good chances go wide or saved by a good Hilton Keeper, and Erin and Bella also had some good chances and shots.
In only her second game, Tayla was player of the match with a great defensive performance on a really positive day for the girls.
