The girls worked their socks off from the first to the last minute without letting up yesterday. They played some lovely football, passing the ball out wide to get us on the attack. They challenged for every ball winning most of their challenges.

Millie in goal was very brave coming off her line, pulling off some great saves.
Leigha scored both our goals, with a lovely nice through ball from Jess to set one up.
Our POTM was Verity who worked so hard in the middle getting the ball forward and winning tackles.

We’re so proud of this group of girls who have shown resilience, work ethic and wonderful teamwork throughout the season and they got their reward yesterday with a fantastic first win of the season - and against Melbourne who are usually our bogey side!
