Duffield Dynamo Foxes v u10 Pumas
A really good performance from the girls yesterday against a good Duffield team.
In possession the girls started well and were creating chances; Bella made the most of the slippery surface to take a shot from outside the area.
After some good build up down the right, the ball was put into the area, the keeper made a good save from Katie and Erin was about to shoot but had her ankles clipped and the ref awarded the penalty, taken well by Katie.
With confidence up, the girls just carried on going with Evie working hard in midfield to win the ball back and play it to Bella, who then played a one-two with Katie and Bella hit a fierce shot from a tight angle.
Ivy, Dela and Umayyah were defending well and trying to restrict what work Lily had to do in goal. Katie was named our player of the match
Also a massive thank you to Shelley for her help today.

U11 Jaguars v Ilkeston
Jaguars started the game well with Wren hitting the post in the first few minutes, and she was a constant challenge for Ilkeston defence with her running and shots at goal.
Rose went in goal for the match and produced some great saves. It was an exciting first half, which was end to end at times, with both teams attacking well.
In the second half, more of the same, with the Jaguars applying pressure on the Ilkeston goal. The Jaguars defence was also under pressure and kept busy, but many attacks were stopped.
Lots of positives and learnings to take into next week.
