U8 Wildcats v Belper Town
A memorable and very enjoyable first game for The Pride’s newest team - it was amazing how well you played for your first league game!

Management choice for girl of the match was Sukhman who played very well in goal. Scarlett and Alice were superb along with Priya, Emily and Sofia, and Amelia very strong as team captain.

U11 Jaguars v Gresley Rovers
A really good exciting game between two evenly matched sides. The first half saw chances for both sides, Holly hit the crossbar from a long way out, and Rose hit the post as Jaguars attacked the Gresley goal. In defence, Lucy, Esther, and Tiana closed down attackers, blocked shots and made tackles to limit chances for Gresley

There was more of the same in the second half with Alicia nearly scoring after a weaving run!
Rose and Wren combined too towards the end of the game to force another shot on goal by Wren.

Jaguars had new player, Havana, making her debut and she made a good contribution in the second half in particular, as Jaguars attacked.

A good performance from the Jaguars, showing great determination and effort throughout. The player of the match was Lucy, a solid performer in defence, tackling and getting the ball to the midfield.
