A Potted History of Pride Park FC
Pride Park Football Club was founded in 2002 and is a Charter Standard Community Club affiliated to the Derbyshire County Football Association.
After several years making use of various sites across the City for training and matches, we took the decision in 2018 to centre the club’s activities around Moorways Stadium at Allenton. Our successful FA Wildcats Football Centre for Girls (aged 4-7) is based at Moorways where our Junior teams also train and our Ladies team train and play their home fixtures. All our teams play in the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League.
The club was named Charter Standard Community Club of the Year in 2014, and also achieved Charter Standard Community Club status – the highest level of accreditation – that year. The FA Charter Standard Scheme sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Premier League and Football League - all our volunteers are DBS checked and have attended Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid Courses. All Coaches are qualified to a minimum of FA Level 1 (or are working towards this) and are required to complete other relevant courses.
